It’s been a few weeks, but JB, Matt, and Darryl are all back together for this week’s LITMC! There is a lot to talk about with AEW and they catch everyone up on Being The Elite and talk about the first installment on The Road to Fyter Fest. They also discuss the news of Fyter Fest being free on BR Live June 29th. There are headlines to discuss including Jon Moxley winning the IWGP United States Championship in his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut and much more to talk about this week!
The title is correct, outside of a couple of sidebars, JB & Matt do not discuss WWE, it’s all about AEW and NXT on this episode. They breakdown the tremendous conversation that Jon Moxley had with Chris Jericho on the Talk Is Jericho Podcast before covering AEW’s Being The Elite and reviewing the tremendous debut pay per view Double or Nothing. They wrap up the show with their predictions for this weekend’s NXT Takeover XXV show; which has an impressive card. This was expected to be a short podcast, but it didn’t turn out that way, enjoy!
It’s pretty exciting to say that 212 episodes into LITMC we get to preview the FIRST pay per view for All Elite Wrestling as Double or Nothing takes place from Las Vegas on Saturday! JB, Matt, and Darryl breakdown the card and provide their predictions for the show. They also discuss the formal announcement that their television show will land on TNT, as well as discuss Being The Elite and Road to Double or Nothing. They also talk about a very up and down WWE Money In The Bank pay per view along with some of the major headlines from the week.
As the title suggests, things in the WWE have not got any better since our last podcast. You may say they have even gotten worse. JB, Matt, & Darryl discuss at length an “insider” who called into Wade Keller’s PWTorch show this week and gave some very interesting details about the status backstage in the WWE today. The show must go on as well so they will go over Raw and SmackDown leading up to their predictions for this weekend’s Money In The Bank pay per view. They also cover this week’s AEW YouTube shows and the top headlines of the week as well.
This is a rather interesting episode of LITMC this week as JB, Matt, and Darryl discuss just how terrible the WWE creative has become after a great WrestleMania. Of course the build-up to WrestleMania was a cluster and the first quarter earnings of the WWE reflect on that as well and the guys will go in-depth to talk about everything wrong. On top of that Raw and SmackDown were pretty bad this week, so bad that we didn’t even cover them for the first time possibly ever on a regular show. Strap in as it’s going to be an interesting one!
JB, Matt, and Darryl talk about this week’s SuperStar ShakeUp; which was pretty underwhelming this year with SmackDown being the clear winner (which will make FOX happy). They also discuss the latest on Bret Hart’s attacker, Road Dogg stepping down from the head writer of SmackDown Live, amongst other headlines. They will also discuss the latest with All Elite Wrestling with the breakdowns of Road To Double Or Nothing and Being The Elite.
Another WrestleMania Weekend is in the books and JB, Matt, and Darryl break down all the action from New York City including the results from Takeover, Mania, and G1 Supercard. They also discuss the lackluster editions of Raw and SmackDown that followed as the WWE is apparently holding off until next week’s Superstar Shakeup. They talk AEW as well as this week’s top headlines including the attack on Bret Hart at the WWE Hall of Fame, a WWE couple engaged, the firing of Eli Drake, and much more!
The time for WrestleMania Weekend is finally upon us! JB, Matt, & Darryl give their predictions for NXT Takeover: New York, the ROH / NJPW G1 SuperCard, and WrestleMania 35. They also talk this week’s latest in AEW with Road to Double Or Nothing and Being The Elite, plus the top headlines including Jim Ross going to AEW, John Oliver talking WWE on his HBO show, and much more!
We’re just a little over a week away from WrestleMania as JB, Matt, and Darryl discuss the latest developments in the WWE and NXT as their respective cards start to take shape. They also discuss the baffling decision to put the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on Charlotte Flair this week just after the announcement that the women will close Mania. Other headlines include Allie signing with AEW, the latest with the WWE Hall of Fame, and the end of the iconic Titan Towers.
A short show this week as it was a relatively quiet week just 3 weeks out from WrestleMania. Contrary to the end of SmackDown Live, JB, Matt, & Darryl will explain to you why KofiMania is not dead yet. They will also breakdown Raw and NXT as well as Being The Elite and this week’s headlines. Some of the top headlines include AJ Styles re-signing with the WWE and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson being pulled off of the road after not signing an extension.
JB, Matt, & Darryl are back this week providing their thoughts on WWE Fastlane plus the Raw & SmackDown episodes that followed. They also cover the latest from Being The Elite and All Elite Wrestling with Double Or Nothing a little more than two weeks away. NXT is discussed as the Dusty Classic is underway, along with a lot of headlines to discuss!
The final WWE pay per view before WrestleMania is upon us this weekend and JB, Matt, and Darryl break down the go-home shows and provide their predictions for Sunday’s event. They also discuss The Man, Becky Lynch, continuing to go off on Twitter, a crazy day of celebrity deaths that have wrestling ties, and much more!
The past 26 hours of WWE from the start of Raw to the end of SmackDown were TREMENDOUS. The Road to WrestleMania has TRULY begun. JB, Matt, and Darryl break it all down from the emotional return of Roman Reigns to a surprise ending of Raw to Kofi possibly going to Mania’s main event now. They also cover headlines including several hirings firings within the WWE, the latest in AEW as Double or Nothing is roughly three months away, and much more! The guys will close the show with their prediction of what the WrestleMania 35 card will look like, it’s a discussion you don’t want to miss!
Unfortunately Darryl had internet issues so it is just JB and Matt this week who break down a rather solid Elimination Chamber pay per view as well as solid offerings to Raw and SmackDown after as well. They also talk about this week’s big headlines including AEW’s Double Or Nothing selling out in just FOUR minutes, the tremendous week that Kofi Kingston had, DX (including Chyna) going into the WWE Hall of Fame, and much more!
We have reached a milestone with our 200th episode this week! JB, Matt, and Darryl have a special segment for the end of the show where they will each provide the cornerstones of their own promotion. It’s a great discussion indeed. They also will set the stage for this weekend’s Elimination Chamber with predictions as well as thoughts from Raw and SmackDown this week. They will also cover headlines including the passing of a WWE legend and a new IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
Trevor is joined by Kent and Genevieve Gambill as they discuss their 10 favorite games of 2017!
