They went on assignment, then technology went on assignment, but the guys are back with a LOT to talk about including the huge announcement that NXT will be going live on the USA Network starting on 9/18. That means starting on 10/2, they’ll be head to head with AEW. The guys also discuss their quick thoughts on SummerSlam and NXT Takeover: Toronto to catch up as well as the top headlines as we head towards All Out in just over a week.
We’re still not letting go of Darryl’s “one inch” comment from last week, obviously. This week is a short show as JB, Matt, and Darryl talk about this week’s developments in pro wrestling as we get closer to NXT Takeover Toronto, SummerSlam, and All Out. It’ll include this week’s Being The Elite, Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and headlines for the week.
JB, Matt, and Darryl talk AEW this week including speculation on the announcement from TNT that came out earlier today. They also discuss the latest Being The Elite and Road to All Out; which heavily featured Shawn Spears and his new manager Tully Blanchard. They cover other headlines including CM Punk coming to Starrcast III, some cool new toys coming from Mattel and the WWE, and much more. They’ll also discuss this week in WWE television including the Raw Reunion.
Lots to talk about this week as JB, Matt, and Darryl break down AEW’s second pay per view, FyterFest, which was headlined by an amazing six-man tag and a hellacious main event between Jon Moxley and Joey Janela. There was also some major news dropped by the WWE when they announced that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff were named head of creative of Raw and SmackDown behind the scenes. The guys break that all down, talk television and headlines and much more this week!
Lots to talk about this week with a review of a great WWE Stomping Grounds PPV and a preview of AEW’s FyterFest this weekend. A unique show as we record during hour two of this week’s edition of SmackDown Live as well. We’ll discuss the Road To FyterFest, Being The Elite, NXT, and Raw plus a lot of headlines as finally the WWE is starting to turn around.
The title of this week’s episode is clearly poking fun of the tagline of this weekend’s WWE pay per view Stomping Grounds that Vince shoved down our throats this week. JB, Matt, and Darryl will breakdown the card for Sunday’s show. While the build and the name of the show aren’t great, it has the makings of a decent show. They also talk about the most recent episodes of Road To Fyter Fest and Being The Elite as well as the latest news with All Elite Wrestling, and much more!
It’s been a few weeks, but JB, Matt, and Darryl are all back together for this week’s LITMC! There is a lot to talk about with AEW and they catch everyone up on Being The Elite and talk about the first installment on The Road to Fyter Fest. They also discuss the news of Fyter Fest being free on BR Live June 29th. There are headlines to discuss including Jon Moxley winning the IWGP United States Championship in his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut and much more to talk about this week!
The title is correct, outside of a couple of sidebars, JB & Matt do not discuss WWE, it’s all about AEW and NXT on this episode. They breakdown the tremendous conversation that Jon Moxley had with Chris Jericho on the Talk Is Jericho Podcast before covering AEW’s Being The Elite and reviewing the tremendous debut pay per view Double or Nothing. They wrap up the show with their predictions for this weekend’s NXT Takeover XXV show; which has an impressive card. This was expected to be a short podcast, but it didn’t turn out that way, enjoy!
It’s pretty exciting to say that 212 episodes into LITMC we get to preview the FIRST pay per view for All Elite Wrestling as Double or Nothing takes place from Las Vegas on Saturday! JB, Matt, and Darryl breakdown the card and provide their predictions for the show. They also discuss the formal announcement that their television show will land on TNT, as well as discuss Being The Elite and Road to Double or Nothing. They also talk about a very up and down WWE Money In The Bank pay per view along with some of the major headlines from the week.
As the title suggests, things in the WWE have not got any better since our last podcast. You may say they have even gotten worse. JB, Matt, & Darryl discuss at length an “insider” who called into Wade Keller’s PWTorch show this week and gave some very interesting details about the status backstage in the WWE today. The show must go on as well so they will go over Raw and SmackDown leading up to their predictions for this weekend’s Money In The Bank pay per view. They also cover this week’s AEW YouTube shows and the top headlines of the week as well.
This is a rather interesting episode of LITMC this week as JB, Matt, and Darryl discuss just how terrible the WWE creative has become after a great WrestleMania. Of course the build-up to WrestleMania was a cluster and the first quarter earnings of the WWE reflect on that as well and the guys will go in-depth to talk about everything wrong. On top of that Raw and SmackDown were pretty bad this week, so bad that we didn’t even cover them for the first time possibly ever on a regular show. Strap in as it’s going to be an interesting one!
JB, Matt, and Darryl talk about this week’s SuperStar ShakeUp; which was pretty underwhelming this year with SmackDown being the clear winner (which will make FOX happy). They also discuss the latest on Bret Hart’s attacker, Road Dogg stepping down from the head writer of SmackDown Live, amongst other headlines. They will also discuss the latest with All Elite Wrestling with the breakdowns of Road To Double Or Nothing and Being The Elite.
Another WrestleMania Weekend is in the books and JB, Matt, and Darryl break down all the action from New York City including the results from Takeover, Mania, and G1 Supercard. They also discuss the lackluster editions of Raw and SmackDown that followed as the WWE is apparently holding off until next week’s Superstar Shakeup. They talk AEW as well as this week’s top headlines including the attack on Bret Hart at the WWE Hall of Fame, a WWE couple engaged, the firing of Eli Drake, and much more!
The time for WrestleMania Weekend is finally upon us! JB, Matt, & Darryl give their predictions for NXT Takeover: New York, the ROH / NJPW G1 SuperCard, and WrestleMania 35. They also talk this week’s latest in AEW with Road to Double Or Nothing and Being The Elite, plus the top headlines including Jim Ross going to AEW, John Oliver talking WWE on his HBO show, and much more!
Trevor is joined by Kent and Genevieve Gambill as they discuss their 10 favorite games of 2017!
