No E3 Booth for 2K Games

A couple days ago we reported on Nintendo taking a different approach to this year's E3. Well it looks like 2K Games is taking a different approach as well. By not having a booth. Yep, 2K Games will not have the traditional big budget E3 booth this year. They will show off games during closed door meetings. Their parent company, Take-Two Interactive will still hold their typical E3 business meeting.

This all comes via their official website.

"At 2K, we're excited for the new opportunities coming with the next generation of hardware, and are hard at work preparing our announced titles for release. While 2K will not have a booth on the show floor at this year's E3 conference, we will have a lot of great news coming your way this spring,"

So, what do you guys think of this decision? Are Nintendo and 2K seeing things we don't? Is E3 loosing its luster?
