A New Friend In Columbia?
Bioshock Infinite continues to be one of the most talked about experiences to date. Mostly everyone who has played and beat the game, came away with something different and shared it with the world. The official game is over but Irrational Games plans on bringing new content with DLC packs. The first features a brand new AI companion to accompany gamers.
The resume above mentions how the animator “learned the custom pipeline used by Irrational Games and provided all animation planning and management for the project." Plus, this animator worked with 2K Australia by “managing outsource animation”. The DLC definitely plans to inject a new character into Columbia. With that, it brings up questions like "Will we control Booker or some other new character?" or "What does this companion bring to the table?" Other than this tidbit of information, nothing else is known about the planned DLC packs or when they shall be released. For now, waiting is all that can be done.
Elizabeth worked wonders in Bioshock Infinite. She found me everything I needed and managed to stay out of trouble. Over the course of the campaign, I eventually felt for Elizabeth and what she went through. I rarely get attached to characters in the way I did for Elizabeth. With this new companion being brought into the game, will he/she have the same impact as Elizabeth? I can only hope so because Elizabeth is one of the very few AI companions that gets it right.
