Gamers often compare titles that come out on multiple consoles to get their money's worth. With that being said, Ubisoft has confirmed Watch Dogs will be getting exclusive content on both the PS3 and PS4 versions. About an hour worth of content limited only to Sony's consoles and this could be the determining factor for most gamers.

In the beginning, it was only rumored that the PS3 version would get exclusive content but when the release date was unveiled, the confirmation for exclusive content came as well. In addition, a statement was also released to IGN confirming the exclusivity branched out for the PS4.

"We can confirm that customers who will purchase Watch Dogs on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will be able to download 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation Network after the game's launch. As of now, we have no more details to share.

The one confusing part about this extra hour of gameplay is whether it adds to the extra hour that comes from purchasing one of the collector's editions. Will gamers have access to an additional two hours of gameplay if they buy the PS3 collector's edition? As of right now, that remains to be seen. We'll be sure to update the story once we hear more details.

In all honesty, I planned on picking up Watch Dogs for my PS3 anyway. I reserve single player games for the PS3 and this extra hour of gameplay definitely sold me. I would hope the exclusive content is something worth playing though. If it's just an hour of doing fetch missions, I probably won't be happy.
