The Wait For A New Guilty Gear Is Finally Over!!!

It's been a long time since Guilty Gear fans have actually gotten a new entry for the franchise. But now it's time to get back into those fighting habits because Arc System Works announced Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- and it is slightly different from previous GG titles. While the gameplay remains practically untouched, GGX SIGN uses 3D polygon models instead of the normal 2D sprites; this marks a first for the series.

Arc System Works confirmed that GGX SIGN is currently in development as an arcade title and will be using the Unreal Engine. The game running on Sega's RingEdge 2 arcade system board and shall support the "ALL.Net P-ras MULTI Version 2" data saving system. This is all the information we know about GGX SIGN and while sources don't state whether a console version is in development; it wouldn't make sense not to appear on consoles. Check out the debut trailer for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- down below and tell us it doesn't make you want to rock hard!

All I have to say is... IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! Guilty Gear got me through a lot of rough times in high school and with the wacky characters and hectic fighting; this is going to be a well received game from fighting game fans. Not to mention the soundtrack is going to rock something fierce. I'm looking forward to some more details and to use my main man Ky Kiske.
