PS3 Zone of The Enders: HD Collection Gets Title Update
Zone of The Enders... a hidden gem from the mind behind Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima. Both the original and the sequel just recently came back in the form of an HD Collection for PS3 and Xbox 360. Even with the improved visuals and tweaks; it still had some issues worth addressing. Frame rates being unstable and some effects not working make up the issues in the Z.O.E. Collection. A title update is on the way but only the PS3 version will get the title update. Sadly, there are no talks of giving the 360 version what it needs.
Kojima expressed that the team is working on this update and how it should fix what was previously stated. Xbox 360 owners will just have to stick with what they got. In other news regarding Z.O.E., Kojima confirmed that the new Zone of The Enders sequel has been put on hold. The original team disbanded and Kojima wants to first make sure a sequel is actually worth the time to invest in before the work continues. While this logically makes sense, not many fans will be pleased to hear it.
Zone of The Enders: HD Collection is available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace.
Both Zone of The Enders are two games I'm glad I had the chance to play. They may not break the norm but at least they offer some high-speed robot combat. That's just the kind of thing I need you know? It sucks that the Xbox 360 version is missing out on the update; guess it has something to do with the games initially being on the PS2. As for the hold on the new Z.O.E. project, I really hope it gets back online. I've been patiently waiting for a sequel to happen and it would be nice if I could get it.
