Today did not bode well for the staff working at TimeGate because multiple sources claim the studio suffered major layoffs. Some even saying the entire staff was let go as well. TimeGate studios is responsible for titles like the Section 8 games and the recently released Aliens: Colonial Marines; which was outsourced to them by Gearbox Studios. The signs were in the sky already for TimeGate since they filed for bankruptcy last week and layoffs occurred back in March. As of right now, it is unknown if their newest game (which was scheduled for release at the end of the year), Minimum, will still see the light of day.

Minimum was to be a free-to-play shooter for the PC and now it may never happen. Once more official statements surface about what really happened at TimeGate, we'll be sure to update further. The staff here wish to express our deepest condolences to those affect by the horrible news today. We wish you the best of luck!
