Team Ninja is bringing Dead or Alive 5 back but this time, they are making it ultimate! Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be available this Fall on Xbox 360 and PS3 for retail and digital purchase. But to those that ask, what makes this Dead or Alive so special *ahem*... ultimate? Well for starters, it includes modes featured in the Vita version titled Dead or Alive 5 Plus, new stages, new fighters and cameos from Team Ninja's other game Ninja Gaiden.

One of the new fighters is Momiji, the apprentice to Ryu Hayabusa. "The largest lineup in DOA history includes the first ever appearance of Ninja Gaiden's Momiji, who utilizes the Hayabusa-style Aikijutsu taught to her by the master himself, Ryu Hayabusa," states the DoA5U press info.

Another character supposed character set to arrive is Leon, who first debuted in Dead or Alive 2. This news came from the same DoA5U press reads, so the infomation is correct. Fighting and DoA fans should keep a look out around the Fall season.

I used to enjoy Dead or Alive but I slowly faded from the interaction. I could be completely wrong but I don't think DoA has the same impact it once had years ago. To also re-release the same game and just add some minor changes, it reminds me of MVC3 and more importantly, the Ninja Gaiden series. I'm a bit negative on the subject but I have been wrong before; this could actually be a welcomed addition.
