Amazon Leaks Skyrim Premium Edition

A new retail listing suggests that Bethesda will re-release The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in December this year.

This premium package was originally leaked by Amazon Germany, which claimed the revamped revision would be released on December 7. IGN has confirmed the Premium Edition is real and an international release will be detailed very soon.

This bundle is packed with Skyrim goodies including a T-shirt, sporting the Skyrim logo, a copy of “The Infernal City” official novel, & six concept art postcards. Exclusive to the PC version, a 600 page ebook, background & walkthrough videos, and a bonus disc containing some pieces of the soundtrack is also included.

You may have noticed that there isn’t any DLC packaged with this re-release. Usually the Elder Scrolls games have a massive Game of the Year Edition which includes the DLC expansions released over the year of the game’s release. There isn’t any localization details as of right now but this could have something to do with Bethesda still having problems with releasing the Dawnguard & Hearthfire DLC expansions to the PS3. We will be sure to bring forth any and all information considering this as soon as it presents itself.
