Finally, some footage of the Ouya in action. This console plans to retail for $99 upon its release in April of this year, and its library will consist of Android games.
Today, Finnish developer Aptual uploaded this video of an early build of their Ouya game, Roasty Rooster. The video comes with this note:
Apparently it wasn’t obvious to everyone that this was a first, un-optimized build of the game, so there are some issues such as lag spikes and menu controls being handled with the controller’s touch pad. Sorry. The point was not to demonstrate the technical excellence of the platform or the game, but to show that games can be quite easily adapted to OUYA. Roasty Rooster is made with Unity3D.
