Thomas Was Alone will be released today on Vita and PS3 through the PSN! Thomas Was Alone is a very rectangular platformer from game designer Mike Bithell. He wrote a blog post for Playstation Blog today detailing his game which you can check out here.​ If you're a member of Playstation Plus you will get a 20% discount and this version of the game does give you some extra DLC with a new episode telling the story of Benjamin who is a rectangle with a jetpack and big ideas as well as a commentary mode for the main game. Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Review

Nothing more than a “neat experiment”

The Ratchet & Clank franchise has officially survived 10 years. As the main developer of the series, Insomniac Games could have celebrated this momentous occasion by playing it safe and releasing only the Ratchet & Clank Collection along with Ratchet: Deadlocked all with full trophy support, and in HD resolution and everyone would have loved it just the same. However, we got Full Frontal Assault (known as Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force in PAL regions) which utilizes Tower Defense gameplay mechanics, never seen before in the Ratchet & Clank games. So I ask you dear readers: Do you enjoy the fact that a cherished action-adventure platformer is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a real time strategy spin off? I’ll let you decide…. but the answer’s no.

Super Mario 3D Land Review

​Super Mario 3D Land is the latest platforming adventure in the Mario franchise and it does not disappoint. Nintendo has really delivered on their promise to make Mario’s first 3D adventure to show off what the 3DS hardware is really made of. In depth 3D gaming has never been fully captured quite like this and I’m glad Nintendo were the ones to do it.
