I’ve got a cold. Ib I were obnoxious, I wud tybe like dis. But I’m not. Point is, when I get so much as the sniffles, I tend to hunker down with a relaxing game: something that allows my brain and reflexes to leave the building while my immune system is busy. However, The Cave relies entirely on puzzles, an area where I don’t excel. So, I said to myself, I’ll give it a shot and stop when I get stuck.

It’s something I replay every few years anyway (my previous save file bears the name of my sophomore year dorm room), and it’s never gotten old. The gameplay is simple, yet its spirit of freedom allows for depth, and when all is said and done, it’s good, clean fun. I hate to jump on the bandwagon here, but NiGHTS is a timeless classic.Read More
Aliens: Infestation. An infestation of aliens. You’ve got aliens, and they’re infesting, and that’s what the game is about.
Okay, I’ll admit it. When I sat down to write this review, my head was full of thoughts on Metroid and Castlevania games. Rather than review the game titled above, I was prepared to talk about other games from the same genre. I couldn’t think of anything to say about Aliens: Infestation itself. It was a perfectly vapid game.Read More
