THQ Dropped From NASDAQ Stock Exchange

-Marcus Lawrence

Following the bankruptcy back in December, THQ is no longer traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange. With THQ falling down to only 23 cents per share, the company is being represented by new stock symbol THQIQ.

As of now, THQ stocks will be traded over the counter and this means “THQ’s stock is not listed on an exchange, and is instead traded over the telephone and electronically, rather than on a physical trading floor.”

Not that this will last for long because of the deal THQ made with Clearlake Capital Group. Once taken into effect, the company will be a private one and its stocks will no longer be traded.

Hopefully this can save THQ from having to close down other studios or worse be closed down.
